My paternal grandfather was a swimmer. He taught me how to swim. My children learned swimming from my father. And what I want to teach myself and them is the thought, that accepting and showing ourselves: to be proud of our strengths, to love our weaknesses as parts of us, to accept our differences as natural – make us stronger. Swimming is a family heritage. As is the commitment to society. So swimathon of three generations - should be obvious. Or not at all. The family heritage does not include the following components of the swimathon: asking, even for money, being in the limelight, even undressing (and I'm not only thinking of the swimsuit, but also of the personal campaign). But there is a good cause for us to do all this! That's why we swim KözösALAPON. Our family-swimmer-team: my children, Kata, Misu, Andris Kocsis, my father, Gábor Gyenes, and me, Zsuzsa Gyenes.
